Mmmm ... Chervil

In truth, it is not a herb that we were really familiar with ... that is until the chef of one of our clients requested that we get seedlings going for him. So we did ... and planted a whole bunch extra.

Chervil is a french "fines herb" with hints of licorice or aniseed. We actually paired this with pork shoulder but, while the sauce was excellent, it would probably be better paired with fish or chicken and would work well with eggs and in salads.

The amazing part is that it grows fantastically hydroponically, and grows well indoors in low light situations.
